With so much going on, navigating the frustrations of troubleshooting can be… well, frustrating. To help make it easy, we sat down with Matt Batman, sales support manager at Pentair Pool, to answer your questions.

Question: If I’m looking for help with a specific product, where should I go for that information?
Batman: There are multiple avenues you can take. The first, obviously, is going to your field representative. But oftentimes, they may not have the bandwidth to answer your questions right away, so we do have a Help Center available on our website to answer a lot of common questions, like functionality questions for our products. There’s also some troubleshooting information on there, as well! You would simply search what you’re trying to look for or the type of question that you would be asking somebody about a product or issue, and we’ll have answers ready for you. Knowledge articles are continually being created over time to keep information fresh and relevant.
Question: If I prefer videos, where would I go to find those more hands-on resources?
Batman: Visual information is key, playing a big part in this industry and any other technical industry. You really need to know what you’re looking at when you’re working on it! We have videos on the Pentair Pool YouTube channel that are dedicated to how-to, troubleshooting, connectivity, app guidance, and so much more. If there’s any kind of hesitation on how to navigate certain aspects of our products, we have plenty of resources available, and we will continue to produce more throughout the year.
If you’re a Pentair Partner, our e-learning modules are a great online resource. They’re pretty easy to find in the Pentair Partners Portal under the Training section – look for “Online Learning.” You’ll see our latest catalog of e-learning modules. Currently, you’ll see introductions to products and the industry itself, like how pool filtration works, how pool automation works, and deep-dives on our products. Throughout the year, we’re actually going to be creating more advanced modules in there that simulate wiring scenarios, programming scenarios, and more. These modules come in quick 15 or 20-minute courses that you can peruse at your leisure.
