The Butler Project
Old World Texture,
Modern Flexibility.
Perched in the exclusive Montebello community of Greenville, SC, the Butler Estate required a design that respected the neighborhood’s European-inspired architecture while delivering a distinctly modern outdoor living experience.
The visual palette is defined by high contrast: deep iron-grey masonry meets the "Electric Azure" pop of NPT Tropics Blue water. This vibrant hue is framed by a perimeter of Vanguard Tourmaline glass tile, adding a shimmering, jewel-toned edge that catches the "High Noon" sun.
To ground this modern vibrancy, the plan calls for a premium Saga Sandstone hardscape. The stone’s variegated blend of charcoal, warm beige, and grey mirrors the natural tones of the Blue Ridge foothills. While the core materials are selected, specific architectural details—such as coping profiles and spillway mechanics—remain flexible to accommodate field conditions and Landscape Architect direction.
